This 20pp publication created on the occasion of CIRCA Projects’ presentation of the first solo exhibition in the UK, outside of London, by the German artist Clemens von Wedemeyer, includes stills from von Wedemeyer’s works ‘From the opposite side’ and ‘Against Death’. Alongside these stills is a new text by Axel Lapp (Greenbox Berlin, Director MEWO Kunstahalle, Memmingen) in English and German examing von Wedemeyer’s works exploration of the rituals of cinema and documentary, and its use of looping narratives and dizzying repetition.
