Colour like no other takes the form of a visual analysis a series of a series of Sony Bravia adverts and considers theway they treat city spaces and rely on psychogeographical sediment. Fiona Jardine has previously worked with Joanne Tatham and Tom O’Sullivan to produce interpretive texts for ‘The Pyramid’ – an exhibition at Joan Eardley’s former studio in Catterline in 2006 and for ‘The Indirect Exchange of Uncertain Value’, at Fettes School, Edinburgh in 2011.
Fiona Jardine graduated in Drawing and Painting from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 1998, following that with an MFA from Glasgow School of Art in 2003. In 2009, she engaged in PhD research concerned with the place of signature in art under the supervision of Professor John Roberts at the University of Wolverhampton. She currently teaches in the School of Textiles and Design, Heriot-Watt University.
